It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Betty Hercia Dalgleish on April 21st 2024 in Rigaud, at 73 years of age.
She possessed a wonderful spirit, cherished her family deeply, and had a smile that could instantly light up a room. She had a big heart and cared for everyone around her. Like many of us, she was flawed, and at times this impacted her and those around her. Yet, a strong bond of love held everything together in the end. Unfortunately, she became the victim of early on-set Alzheimer's. With great pain, those that loved her had to endure watching her decline over the years feeling powerless to help. Inevitably, she succumbed to this horrible disease.
She will be greatly missed by: Her children; Adrienne (Rene) and Neil (Angelina). Grandchildren; Avery, Ashlee, Alan, Alyssa, Aaliyah, and Aydyn. Siblings; Terry and Rose, and all those that knew her.
As per her wishes, no service or funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers and other tokens, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
