 It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Anne-Marie Marsy (born Sarena), who left us peacefully at the age of 82, on September 6, 2025. Anne-Marie was born in Alexandria, Egypt and moved to Canada in her early 20s, where she began a new chapter of her life that would be filled with love and adventure.

A few years after arriving in Canada, Anne-Marie met the love of her life, Bernard Marsy while on vacation in Morocco. Together, they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving family.  Anne-Marie is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard; her beloved daughter, Sylvia (Boyan); and her son, Philippe (Wendy). She was a proud grandmother who will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Laura Marsy, Erica Marsy, Sophie Petkov, Léa Petkov, and Owen Marsy.

Throughout her life, she embodied grace, strength, and warmth. She was a remarkable woman who will be remembered most for her unwavering companionship to her husband, her nurturing spirit as a mother, and the love she shared as a grandmother.

Predeceased by her dear brother, Michael Sarena, Anne-Marie leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family and friends.

Rest in peace, dear Anne-Marie. You will forever be in our hearts.
