Mr. Robert (Bob) G. Shaar

October 7, 1941 - May 23, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) G. Shaar on May 23, 2025, at the age of 83, in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

He was the beloved partner of Reine Clément, the proud father of Kimberly (Greg), Deborah (Rod), and Robert (Marie-Josée). He was also a cherished grandfather to Brandon (Anna), Courtney, and James, as well as a beloved great-grandfather to Charlotte, Thomas, and William. He is survived by his brother Russell (Andrée) and his nieces, Annie and Patricia.

His unconditional love, dedication to his precious family, strength of character, and immense generosity will remain an inspiration to us all.

Bob built a respected career in the garment industry, beginning as a salesman and later co-managing a business with his brother Russell for 30 years.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Summerlea Golf Club, located at 1000 Rte de Lotbinière, Vaudreuil-Dorion. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a tribute to his life at 3:00 PM.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bob's memory would be greatly appreciated.
