1967 – 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of the late Mr. Richard Lemieux which occurred on September 21st, 2024, at the age of 57. He shall be greatly missed by his mother Connie, daughter Sydney and son-in-law Jamie, grandchildren Austin and Adam, girlfriend Erica as well as other family members and friends.
Family and friends will gather and celebrate his life privately, at a later date.
RICHARD LEMIEUX
As Richard’s guidance counsellor throughout the high school years, I was impressed by his ability to bring out the best in others—he was genuinely likeable! His quality of spirit, with which he was generously imbued, inspired friends to see beyond Richard’s birth handicaps.
During the primary and secondary school years he was surrounded by fellow students who would navigate the wheelchair that he so aptly captained. And when no ramp was available to access the various floor levels, both Richard and his chair were carried up and down by those who saw it as their personal responsibility.
