Mr. Jonathan Salvatore Gualtiero Curzi

Vaudreuil- Dorion

December 3rd, 1977 – January 21st, 2026

In Pointe-Claire, Montreal, on January 21st, 2026 Mr. Jonathan Curzi sadly passed away at 48 years of age. He is survived by his husband Scott Mosher, his sister Lisa Curzi Piché, and many more family members and friends.

Jonathan had an inviting, joyful, sassy and contagious personality which lured in all that met him. He took the time to listen and would not only offer his help but would be there when asked and gave more than what was asked of him. Jonathan always sought to better himself. For example, later in his life, Jonathan returned to CEGEP to complete his education to advance in his career or taking up baking in and asking “the Robot” for new and better recipes that he would prepare for friends and family.

Not enough can be said about Jonathan’s passion for music. Singing and acting led him to perform and direct productions with Lakeshore Light Opera for many decades as well with other music troupes.  You could always hear Jonathan singing, whether working or relaxing at home. Jonathan’s voice and presence will be forever missed by all of us who love him.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation a local hospital serving the West Island community of Montreal.

A memorial will occur at a future date and the information will be provided to family and friends when available.

It is tragic to see such a beautiful person pass at such a tender age, but, at the age of 48, I can say that I have had the good fortune of knowing Jonathan Curzi since he enrolled in the John Abbott Theatre Program almost 30 years ago at the age of 18. Although he has a particularly long and beautiful name, I personally just called him ' Curzi' he was the only 'Curzi' I knew and during the last three decades he has remained such. He presented himself for interview sporting a smart beige suit and sporting a sassy matching fedora. His eyes twinkled and his chuckling, slightly lispy laugh was infectious. You aways found yourself smiling when conversin…
