Mr. James (Jim) Harbec

November 26, 1959 - June 19, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce that our husband and father, James Harbec, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the CHUM Hospital in Montreal on the evening of June 19th.

He was a loving husband to Nancy Perrault, a devoted father to Amanda (Devon), Shannon (Matt) and Shawn (Victoria), playful Grumps (grandfather) to Emma, Oliver and Lucy and best buds with George, the cat. He also leaves behind his siblings Dave, Mike, Marie and Andy as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

He had a long and successful career in the electronic industry. He climbed the corporate ladder working his way up from the parts department at Toshiba Canada to Vice President Sales for both Toshiba and later Hisense. In addition to his illustrious career, he always found time to spend with his children, even coaching multiple sports teams over the years.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Cornwall Community Hospital ICU for their dedicated care over the past two months, as well as the transplant and ICU team at the CHUM.

The family will be receiving condolences Friday July 4th at 6pm at the

St. Thomas Aquinas Parish
