1989 – 2021
A bright light that was darkened too soon, Derek Peter Demole, 31, passed suddenly on Friday, January 1st, 2021 in Montreal. Words cannot express the sorrow felt for the beloved son of Anna-Louise (Brett) Stasyshyn of Montreal and David (Anna-Marie) Demole of Notre-Dame-de-l’Ile-Perrot and the beloved and adored father of James David Demole.
He is survived by his partner, Kristina Pagé of Rosemère, his paternal grandparents, Pierre and Joan Demole of Rosemère , his maternal grandparents, Pauline Denommé and her late husband George Gagné of Montreal, his uncles, Michael (Janet) Demole, Alan (Julie) Demole, and Michael Stasyshyn and his aunts, Jewel Demole and Johanne Stasyshyn and his cousins, Christopher, Jarryd, Laura (Dillon), Chantale and Sandra (Fred) and other family members.
Derek was known for his great sense of humour and big heart, he will be sadly missed by family, friends too numerous to count (especially George N. and Conor R.) and his work colleagues.
Derek loved to reference the Beatles lyrics;
“All you need is love, love
Love is all you need”
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
